The idea of the show was created during my sophomore year in college. One of
my buddies was in my bedroom and stumbled across the bank. The bank is a
giant Bud Light bottle and can hold an enormous amount of ¢ents. He
immediately dumped it and started to count. He stopped after about $50.00 and
then asked the question that I would ponder for over two years, "What are you
going to do with the money?"
The question he raised has been on my mind ever since. I didn't know what I
wanted to do with the ¢ents, and while I thought, kept adding to the collection. I
could only think of things that I didn't want to do and that included all of the
normal things that a typical college student would. I did not want to spend it
buying back the Bud Light that acted as a home to all of my ¢ents, or on my other
option of fast food.
I kept collecting and the thought did not hit me until two and a half years after
graduation. I thought of everything that I enjoyed and would like to pursue. After I
talked myself out of some other ideas, I decided that I had a blast hosting a radio
show in college and combined with my passion for business could form an
interesting challenge and show. In the least it would act as an audio journal
documenting a start up business.
The show is going to test my personal philosophy that it does not take a large sum
of start up money to create a successful business, while interviewing and learning
from experienced business owners, and other aspiring entrepreneurs.
Mission
The mission of the show is to have
fun while testing a business
philosophy. It is to also become a
networking tool for all entrepreneurs
and aspiring entrepreneurs alike.
